We are looking for a passionate, creative, out of the box thinker who will handle internal and external communications. This individual will drive the development of website content, manage online advertising, plan and manage social media and public relations campaigns, develop email campaigns and support in creating print and online publications. They will also write communication material, such as press releases, feature articles, brochure and other content.

Your Role

  • Create, execute and manage ad campaigns, promotions, social media marketing campaigns, company blog, and newsletters (online & email);
  • Execute engagement and conversion strategies that drive brand-awareness on popular platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.);
  • Assist in the preparation of the necessary promotional material for tradeshows, webinars, customer visits, PowerPoint presentations, and customer surveys;
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written);
  • Develop and present ideas for ads, events, promotions and social media campaigns, etc.;
  • Oversee the design of content on social media platforms (e.g. Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog);
  • Organize and produce monthly inbound engagement recap;
  • Participate in the process to create material and campaigns/videos in support of the corporate marketing strategy;
  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate;
  • Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics;
  • Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer use cases. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly;
  • Monitor industry social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), and industry websites to track recent developments in the market;
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management;
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns;
  • Establish and monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results;
  • Oversee all on-page SEO optimization efforts and SEO-related content edits;
  • Research and optimize keyword for maximum visibility by target audiences;
  • Monitor and analyze SEO metrics and performance data, as well as provide actionable plans for improvement.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications or similar field;
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in producing marketing content in English;
  • Strong knowledge of optimizing Search Engine strategies, PPC, and online marketing campaigns;
  • Experience with SEO ranking factors, guidelines, analytics, algorithms, techniques and tracking tools;
  • Experience with social media platforms;
  • Experience with leveraging ad & social media management analytic tools;
  • B2B marketing experience, preferably in technology;
  • Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Quick learning mindset in a multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Experience in writing, editing and crafting content;
  • Experience in Google Analytics and Google AdWords;
  • Solid grasp of social media management for business;
  • Experience with Drupal (shortcodes, plugins, themes) or similar CMSs;
  • Independent, proactive individual who also works well in teams;
  • Comfortable adjusting priorities or adopting a new project initiative as needed;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment;
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage assigned work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment;
  • Preference given to bilingual (English and French) candidates.
