We are looking for a passionate, creative, out of the box thinker, who is highly organized, obsessed with results and detail oriented. The ideal candidate’s primary responsibilities will revolve around selling and implementing the VKS software at customer sites. This position is based out of our US office in Binghamton, New York (our head offices are located in Montreal, Canada).

Your Role

  • Present and sell VKS to prospective Customers;
  • Listen to and understand the Customer requirements;
  • Convert what you have learned into tangible benefits and compelling sales pitches;
  • Define and document solution implementation requirements;
  • Create and demonstrate ‘Best in Class’ examples, premiering all the software's capabilities;
  • Manage customer engagements from prospective selling through to successful implementation, including project management and customer training;
  • Transition successfully implemented accounts to operational status;
  • Perform onsite and remote customer training;
  • Coordinate the implementation of 3rd party vendor requirements as needed;
  • Provide product usability and customer requested features to sales and development teams;
  • Provide input into the product and solution process, including development of test plans or supplemental test cases for implemented product features;
  • Exhibit at trade shows and other events;

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience;
  • 3-5 years of experience in working directly with customers in the selling of and support of information technology solutions, AND/OR 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations (ex: Quality, Production, Engineering, etc.);
  • Lean manufacturing and/or industry 4.0 / smart manufacturing knowledge is preferred
  • Prior Manufacturing industry experience is preferred;
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Must have expertise with common information technologies such as Internet browsers, mobile devices, word, excel, etc.;
  • Must be willing to travel;
  • Must have demonstrated success multitasking and prioritizing based on business demands;
